# Loader

Visual C++ is used by a lot of programs. If you downloaded it already, you do not need to install it a second time unless you reinstalled your windows.

#### Troubleshooting

**Loader does not open:**

**Step 1:** \
Check that you are using the **latest** loader version & have installed all requirements.

**Step 2:** \
[Sync Windows Local Time](https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+sync+local+time). This is currently the most common issue.

**Step 3:** \
(Re)Install the [Steam Client](https://store.steampowered.com/about/). Make sure only to reinstall the CLIENT, you can keep all your games.

**Step 4:**\
In case your system complaints about the program, add it to [Windows Defender Exclusions](https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+defender+exclusions) or any other Anti-Virus Exclusions if you are using an external one.

**Step 5: (General Considerations)**\
\
Uptime & Retries:\
The back-end server could be **temporarily offline**. Please do not spam the same retry 10 times in a row, otherwise you could get temporarily blocked. Additionally, it is best to stay in contact with our announcement channels where this type of information is being posted.\
\
Key Validity:\
When you copy a key from an external website, there is a chance that you accidentally copy an invisible character with it. If a key that you know is valid shows up as invalid, please paste it into [Notepad](https://www.google.com/search?q=notepad), then copy it again and paste it back into the loader.\
\
Network Stability:\
It is recommended to set [good DNS settings](https://www.google.com/search?q=good+dns+settings+windows+10), disable all VPNs and make sure your WiFi/Internet connection is stable. Otherwise the loader may crash at random times.\
\
Obvious Indicators:\
A lot of issues are automatically detected by the loader and will be shown in the info text. Please make sure that you read it and follow the instructions accordingly. 

**Step 6:**\
At this step, please keep in mind that the steps explained above solve more than 99.99% of all issues for [regular PC owners](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]. We are not responsible for you following them incorrectly. You may reach out to us **only when you double checked all of these solutions** before you make us check your details inside of our server logs, otherwise we will close your inquiry, possibly without explanation. 1. Virtual Machines such as *Virtual Box* or similar.
2. Cloud Based Machines such as *GeForce NOW* or similar.
3. Windows 7, Linux, or anything other than Windows 10 & 11.
4. Machines Running Extended Security Systems such as Internet Cafes or similar.
